About the course

This beginner-friendly course prepares new caregivers to confidently support individuals living with dementia. Through engaging lessons, real-life scenarios, and best practices aligned with SC DHEC and Alzheimer’s Association guidelines, learners will explore how dementia differs from normal aging, how to communicate with compassion, and how to respond to changes in behavior and condition.
